Delete your account

You can delete your Shivaar (livestock app) account at any time. There are two ways to request deletion.

Option 1 — Delete in-app

Open the app and go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account, then follow the prompts to confirm. This is the fastest way to remove your account.

Option 2 — Email us

Send an email to support@shivaar.in from your registered email, including the phone number registered with your account so we can verify your identity, and we will process the deletion for you.

What data is removed

Within 24 hours, we permanently remove your email address, phone number, full name, profile photo, any identification/KYC documents, address and location details, date of birth and bio. This action cannot be undone.

What's kept a little longer, and why

Your listing history and transaction/order records are kept for 90 days with your identity anonymised (shown as “Deleted User”) — this is needed for other users you dealt with to have a record of the transaction, for financial/tax compliance, and to resolve any dispute raised before you deleted your account. After 90 days these records are permanently deleted too, except where a specific record must be kept longer under Indian law (for example, GST and accounting records).
